13.3 Inspecting the gear oil

The volume of gear oil increases when the temperature rises. In large temperature fluctuations, the filling
quantity can vary.

During gear oil inspection, observe the following points:

–

Check the oil level 30 minutes after switching off the drive, while it is still warm from operation.

–

Do not underestimate or exceed the recommended oil quantity.
