Retrieve
Touching Retrieve button switches the screen to the Retrieve view. Wait while the Retrieve button is pink to process
data to display on the Retrieve view.
Recording/Retrieve views can be switched even while recording.
Alarm
Touch Alarm button to switch to Alarm History view. Wait while the 7xET is reading the data. Refer to Section 6.
Start
When this button is touched, the 7xET starts plotting on the screen, and data recording is activated according to the
specified Data Storing Method.
While the recorder is operating, the Start button is replaced with the Stop button.
It may take a while before a plotted trend is indicated on the screen after the Start button has been touched.

OVERVIEW
The Overview is used to monitor 32 channels at once. Four groups (pages) are available, and each page consists
of Group & Time Indicator, Data Indicators and Control Buttons.

4.2.1
GROUP & TIME INDICATOR
Group Number
The number 1, 2, 3 or 4 indicated at the left and end indicates the current group. 1 group shows 32 pens, and 4
groups show in total of 128 pens. Group 1 shows pens 1 through 32, Group 2 shows 33 through 64, Group 3 shows
65 through 96, and Group 4 shows 97 through 128.
Group Selector
[ < ] and [ > ] buttons are used to switch between pages for the different groups. Touch [ > ] to go to the next page and
[ < ] to the previous page.
Data File Used Volume
A bargraph is indicated when Data File Used Volume is set to ‘Show’ in the basic setting.
The 7xET creates a data file at the startup using all unused space and shows while recording how much space has
been used in percentage (1 percent increments). The bargraph color changes according to the used volume: green
below 50%, yellow up to 79% and red over 80%. Once the used space reaches 100%, the 7xET overwrites the
oldest data with a new one. There will be no update on this indicator after 100%.
