Scale Bar
Two scales, linear and square root from 0 to 100%, are indicated on the scale bar. The scales apply to the plot range
specified in Pen Setting.
Engineering scale for a specific pen can replace the standard scale by touching the tag name for the pen (Figure
4.1.1b). In order to return the scale to 0 to 100%, touch the scale.
The engineering unit scale is indicated to one decimal point. If you want to the scale with fractions, specify the
decimals for the plot range in Pen Setting. With the plot range set to a integer, the scale divisions are also rounded
to integers.
While an input signal goes out of the plot range, the pen remains at the extreme ends (left for downscale, right for
upscale) of the pen pointer area.
While recording, red lines are shown at the upper and lower edges of the scale bar.

CHART
Perpendicular and horizontal charts are selectable. On the perpendicular chart, data stream from top to bottom. On
the horizontal chart, data stream from left to right. In order to switch the direction, select Setting – Graph.
Perpendicular rules are thick-lined by 10% and thin-lined by 2% of the linear scale. The 2% rules are not provided for
the 73ET.
Horizontal rules are lined by time. One (1) division equals 10 seconds with the high chart speed, 1 minute with the
middle speed, 5 minutes with the low speed, and 20 minutes with the very low speed setting.
Time index is shown at the center of the chart, in ‘YY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS’ format.
