3 - 8 Engineering and Ordering

Issue 10 July 2000

9. Order a maximum of two List 20 side covers with each main list

(1, 2, 3, or 4) for shipment in the container with the rectifier.
Quantities greater than two will be shipped separately.

10. Order a maximum of one List 21 rear cover with each main list (1,

2, 3, or 4) for shipment in the container with the rectifier.
Quantities greater than one will be shipped separately.

11. See Figure V on J85503C-3 for when to order lists 20 and 21.

12. When lifting the rectifier from the top, use and install four 5/8-11

eyebolts (MacMaster Carr #3014T52) and four hex nuts (comcode
841063670).

13. Order spares per lists K1 through K4.

14. Order shims for leveling the rectifier, as required.

15. The side and end covers attach to the frame by sliding the cover

internal flanges into the mounted plastic clips. With covers resting
in the clips, secure the top of the covers with #10-32 screws and
star washers.

16. Installation mounting plates (junction plates) are provided for side

to side top support for adjacent rectifiers.

17. Install the kick plate in the field to avoid damage during

installation.

18. The rectifier is shipped with the back protective cover attached to

the frame. Set the fastener by driving in the pin with a hammer.
When facing the back of the unit, set the first rivet in the.140 inch
diameter hole in the top right corner. Then set three rivets through
the elongated holes in the top. Install the remaining rivets in the
bottom panel. You must install this panel in order to prevent
access into an adjacent rectifier.
