abh. Therefore, at least one more 100A rectifier is required for a
redundant system (four 100A rectifiers total). If one fails, 300A
capacity remains, which is greater than the 210 abh.
Note that in this example, the redundant system could also be
realized by the following combinations of rectifiers:
One 200A and three 100A rectifiers
Two 200A and one 100A rectifiers
As long as the loss of any one rectifier does not leave a remaining
capacity of less than 210 amperes, the system is redundant.
Ordering
The 400-ampere 60-Hertz rectifier is ordered using the List (L) numbers
and tables on the J85503C-3 equipment drawing and has four main
configurations based on different input voltage options.
•
List 1 provides a rectifier with a 208 volt ac input.
•
List 2 provides a rectifier with a 240 volt ac input.
•
List 3 provides a rectifier with a 480 volt ac input
•
List 4 provides a rectifier with a 416 volt ac input.
Other lists on the J85503C-3 drawing are ordered as “Equipped With”
items. This means that they are ordered in addition to a main list and will
be assembled in the factory.

Table 3-A provides a summary of the J85503C-3 list structure. Read all
of the notes carefully before ordering.
