Engineering and Ordering 3 - 7

4. The following items are shipped with each rectifier:

• mounting template
• top mounting plates
• ac input connectors
• frame ground connector

5. The central office ground connector, the mounting anchor bolts

(kit), and the dc output connectors are not provided with the
rectifier. Order these items from Table 3-B.

6. Use approved tooling for crimping connectors.

7. The standard output circuit breaker provided with Lists 1, 2, 3, and

4 is a 450 ampere breaker and meets Bellcore standard
TR-EOP-000151 issue 1 for output protection. The optional output
circuit breaker (List 6) provides a 500 ampere circuit breaker and
meets GTE standard 8336 issue 1 for output protection.

8. When installing J85503C-3 rectifiers in a plant with other Lucent

Technologies Lineage

®

2000 rectifiers, cut lead 13 of the interface

cable of all the rectifiers not equipped with an equalize feature to
prevent the J85503C-3 rectifier from being placed permanently in
an equalize mode of operation.
