“Code sequence” shows the rotation direction of the encoder shaft and
consequently whether the position value output by the encoder increases
when the encoder shaft rotates clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW).
CW and CCW rotations are viewed from shaft.

“Scaling function”: if disabled the device uses its own physical resolution (see
objects 6501h and 6502h); if enabled it uses the resolution set in objects
6001h and 6002h.
