6.Fuel System

XCITING S 400

6-18

Fuel Tank Removal

In order to drain the fuel from the fuel pipe and release the fuel pressure unplug

the fuel pump connecter. Start the engine and let it run until it dies of fuel

starvation. Turn the ignition switch off.

Disconnect the coupler.

Clamp the fuel hose for safety.

And loosen the fuel hose clamp.

To separate the fuel hose from the fuel pump pipe.
