Connecting the digital inputs
The pumps will run once digital input 2 has 24 V applied to it and the PumpDrives are
set to automatic mode. Digital inputs 1 and 6 must have 24 V applied to them on all
the PumpDrives in a multiple pump configuration. In order to start multiple pump
operation, digital input 2 of the PumpDrive fitted with the Advanced control panel
must have 24 V applied to it with an external NO contact.

Establishing a sensor connection
If a sensor with a 4 - 20 mA signal is used, a 500-ohm resistor must be installed
between terminals P7:6 and 7 to convert the current signal from 4 - 20 mA to 2 - 10
mA. This voltage signal can then be tapped in parallel at both PumpDrives.
Should the active master control panel fail, the auxiliary master control panel will
assume active control of the system, which is why the sensor must be connected in
parallel to these two PumpDrives to ensure that it is supplied with voltage in the
event that the main pump fails.
If the sensor signal is transmitted to PumpDrive from a higher-level control system or
a PLC, make sure that all the signals are electrically isolated.
