PumpDrive is configured for open-loop control mode as standard (PI mode
3-9-1-1
Disabled) and can receive its setpoint via analog input 1, the field bus or the control
panel. If PumpDrive is to be used in closed-loop control mode, it is recommended
that you connect the actual value sensor to analog input 2 (terminals P7:6 AIN2 and
10 AGND P7). Analog input 2 is configured for connecting an actual value signal (4 -
20 mA) by default. If such an actual value signal (4 - 20 mA) is connected, PumpDrive
detects it as a sensor signal and, following a restart (system reboot), automatically (PI
Auto
3-9-1-6
Activated) switches to closed-loop control mode (PI Mode 3-9-1-1
Enabled) without the need for further parameterisation.
This is enabled by the automatic sensor recognition function (PI Auto 3-9-1-6
Enabled). If automatic switchover to closed-loop control mode is not required, the
sensor recognition function can be deactivated (PI Auto
3-9-1-6
Deactivated). Manual
configuration of PI Mode and, thus, manual parameterisation of open or closed-loop
control mode, are then possible.
If no 4 - 20 mA sensor signal is used, analog input 2 has to be re-parameterised
accordingly. The actual value source can be changed using the Feedback (Actual
Value) Source Selection parameter
(3-9-2-1)
. In addition, it is possible to read in 2
signals via AnIN1 and AnIN2 in order to sample these signals for the following
criteria:
▪
Difference of the two signal values DIFF (AI1, AI2)
▪
Minimum of the two signal values MIN (AI1, AI2)
▪
Maximum of the two signal values MAX (AI1, AI2)
▪
Average value of the two signal values AVE (AI1, AI2)
In this case, the setpoint has to be specified by means of the control panel or field
bus. If the actual value is read via the field bus, the source has to be reset to Remote
Actual Value.
