NOTE
Fixed speed operation mode is activated in a multiple pump configuration only
when both setpoint sources Bit 0 and Bit 1 have been parameterised for digital
selection of a fixed speed at the digital inputs (
Section 7.2.5 Page 91) . Fixed
speed operation mode only needs to be parameterised and wired on the main
pump and the auxiliary main pump. The digital inputs (DIG IN 2 to DIG IN 5) of the
slave pumps are not polled for this purpose.
7.1.3.5
Connecting KSB local bus
In multiple pump configurations, the PumpDrives must be connected via an internal
KSB local bus. The active master control panel then controls all other connected
PumpDrives via the KSB local bus. The maximum number of PumpDrives in a multiple
pump configuration is limited to six.
The KSB local bus comprises three signal cables: SB1-, SB1+, and SB1-GND. These
signal cables are looped through from one PumpDrive to another. A cable specified
for CAN bus that has the following properties must be used as a connecting cable:
▪
Flexible
▪
At least 3 wires
▪
Shielded
▪
Wires twisted in pairs
