Only one setpoint source is required in the majority of applications.
Up to 3 setpoint sources can be used simultaneously for setpoint specification. The
total across all the setpoint sources is calculated internally (

100 % max. of setpoint). This total setpoint makes it possible to use analog input 1,
the control panel or the field bus as the setpoint source, without having to
parameterise the source beforehand. Only one setpoint source is required in the
majority of applications. In these scenarios, it is recommended that the setpoint
sources not required be set to No Function.

The unit of the setpoint is defaulted to percentage (%) when delivered. The setpoint
range 0 - 100 % refers to an output frequency of 0 - 50 Hz in open-loop control
mode, and to 0 - 60 Hz or 0 - 70 Hz in over-synchronous operation. The minimum
output frequency Frequency Low
(3-6-1-2)
is set to 25 Hz (50 %) by default, i.e. the
setting range for the setpoint is 50 - 100 % (e.g. 5 - 10 V, 12 - 20 mA). If a setpoint
below 50 % is specified, PumpDrive always operates at its minimum frequency of
25 Hz (50 %).
