Malfunction: Short crops are not correctly pulled in.
Possible cause Remedy
The machine is hooked in too
low at the front. „
Check the setting of the drawbar.

If required, have the drawbar height adjusted by the KRONE
service partner,
refer to page 47 .
19.2 Disturbances during or after the baling process
Malfunction: The bale formation conveyor is rotating slower than it should. Slippage is
occurring.
Possible cause Remedy
The baling pressure is too
high. „
Reduce the baling pressure, refer to page 169 .
The rotational speed is too
high. „ Reduce the rotatonal speed.
The sensor B01 "Speed of
bale chamber" is defective.
„
Check the sensor and the cabling for damage, refer to
page 229 .
The crops consist of very
heavy grass without structure
(e.g. clover grass).
„
Drive with few or no blades. To swivel out blade groups,
refer to page 84 .
The crops are too moist for
this baling system.
„
Use a different round baler.
Malfunction: The direction display during the baling process reacts too sensitively.
Possible cause Remedy
The spring tubes on the belt
tensioning device for setting
the bale diameter move too
sluggishly.
„
Clean the spring tubes.
„ Lubricate the inner tube.
The sensitivity of the direction
display has been set too high
on the terminal.
„
Set the sensitivity of the direction display on the terminal,
refer to page 143 .
Malfunction: The round bale does not roll, or only slowly, out of the bale chamber.
Possible cause Remedy
The sides have been filled too
high.
„
Make narrower swaths, refer to page 69 .
„ Do not drive too far to the side.
The baling pressure is too
high.
„
Lower the baling pressure, refer to page 169 .
Malfunction: The tailgate cannot be completely closed.
Possible cause Remedy
The stop cock for the tailgate
is closed.
„
Open the stop cock, refer to page 75 .
The springs on the tailgate
lock have been set too weak. „
Set the tailgate lock, refer to page 255 .
