(1) Signal words provide an indication of the degree of danger concealed within the product.
(2) This manual uses three different signal words depending on the probability and severity of injury or dam-
age as explained below.
DANGER : Indicates an acute hazard that will result in death or serious injury if not avoided.
WARNING : Indicates a danger that may result in death or serious injury if not avoided.
CAUTION : Indicates a danger that may result in medium-level wound or minor injury if not
avoided. It is also used to indicate anticipation of a danger of physical damage
only.
