Start the engine and leave it as it is for 5 minutes or more.

Stop the engine and wait until the temperature of each part goes down to the normal temperature. Then
check the oil level with the dipstick (G) of the swing machinery and the dipstick (K) of the swing motor
again.

WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn injury.
Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
Items to be prepared
Container to catch the drained oil
Perform the oil replacement of motor-generator case and cleaning of oil filter according to the following table.

Cleaning of filter - -

Remove the inspection cover (A).
2.
Place a container under the drain valve (P) at the bottom
of the machine to receive the oil.
3.
Loosen the drain valve (P) at the bottom of the machine,
drain the oil, then tighten the drain valve again.
4.
Remove the motor-generator case oil filter (1).
5.
If any dirt is on the oil filter (1), clean it. After cleaning, in-
stall it to the original position.
• Tightening torque of filter case: 40 to 50 Nm {4.1 to
5.1 kgm}
