Connecting the Earthing Cables

Connecting the earthing cables (Single and Single/Duo)

The figures illustrate the Single interface plate

(round) for assembly of the IDP 401 and

IDP 401 inverted versions. The assembly procedure for the IDP 501 XL and IDP 501 XXL
versions to the interface plate

(angular) is identical.

For reasons of simplification, the illustrations show the interface plate

without extension

arm or cables.

•

Observe the safety notices, see section 7.7.1 “Safety Notes”, page 84.

•

Cut all green-yellow earthing cables to 2.5 mm² and 10 mm² in length.

•

Feed the earthing cables through the tension relief and connect them to the series terminal
4 mm² or 10 mm² on the earthing terminal unit on the interface plate

Ensure that the earthing cables are safely in place in the tension relief :

•

All earthing cables must sit securely in the tension relief .
