Feeding the Supply Cables Through the Extension Arm, Dual Arm

•

Observe the safety notes, see section 7.6.1 “Safety Notes”, page 71.

Fig. 7-25:

Feeding the supply cables through the extension arm, Dual arm

The supply cables (power cables and gas tubes) are pre-installed on the M6 service head.
Dedicated cables, e.g. for nurse call or telephone, are to be fed through the suspension arm
system separately.

•

Carefully lay the supply cables and supply tubes through the extension arm and the
interface plate.

•

Readjust the M6 service head without pulling on the supply cables and supply tubes .
Ensure that cables that have already been laid are not damaged or torn off.

•

Lead dedicated cables, e.g. for nurse call or telephony, through the suspension arm
system.

•

Mount the M6 service head to the suspension arm system according to the Mounting
Instructions of the M6 service head.
