7.8.2
Mechanical Collision Check
WARNING
Danger of electrocution and explosion after collisions!
Collisions with other devices, walls or ceilings can damage the suspension arm system and
the M6 service head and can cause important supply cables to fail. Damaged supply cables
and supply tubes can electrify the suspension arm system with 230 V (120 V), or supply
gases can escape from gas and compressed air tubes.
•
After collisions, check the suspension arm system and the M6 service head for possible
damage.
•
Check all lines and tubes for damage.
•
When installing the lines, make sure that there are no crossings, loops or twists.
•
In case of doubt, contact the Martin Service Center.
Ensure that there are no collisions when swiveling the suspension arm system. For example
with:
•
other suspension arm systems
•
ceilings or walls
•
other components
