•
This inspection plan is valid only in connection with the Mounting Instructions and the
Instructions for Use, which must be referred to as supplement to the inspections.
•
Comply with the inspection intervals.
Have the suspension arm system inspected according to the items and at the
intervals specified below by Gebrüder Martin or service technicians authorized by
Gebrüder Martin:
Visual inspection – Perform annually
Not OK OK
•
The parts of the suspension arm are not deformed or damaged (scratches,
cracks, etc.)*
•
The paint of the system is undamaged*
•
The plastic covers are present and positioned correctly*
•
All rating plates and labels are provided and clearly legible
•
All the fastening screws of the canopy are provided and firmly installed
Function check – Perform annually
Not OK OK
•
The suspension arm system is securely positioned; adjust the swivel stops
if necessary
•
At least 1 swivel stop is set at every pivot point and is correctly installed
and effective**
•
The extension arms can be easily positioned when the pneumatic and
electromagnetic brakes are released
•
The brake valves can be bled and closed correctly, the brake buttons
return smoothly to their initial position***
•
Mechanical brakes (friction brakes) adjusted correctly, readjust if
necessary***
•
The suspension arm system latches in each selected position**
•
All socket outlets (if provided) are firmly installed and functional**
•
Inspection of protective conductor resistance (DIN EN 62353)
•
Check the screw connections for tight fit by comparing them with the
torques specified in the Mounting Instructions.
