Mounting the Brake Indicators (only for Retrofitting)
Colors of the plastic covers
IDP 401, Dual arm:
•
upper plastic cover green
•
lower plastic cover blue
IDP 401, Single arm:
•
upper plastic cover green
The illustration shows the IDP 401 version. The
mounting process for the IDP 501 XL and
IDP 501 XXL versions is identical.
For reasons of simplification, the illustration
shows the extension arm
,
without
cables.
The brake indicators
are mounted to the
swivel or brake points of the extension
arm
,
.
4 brake indicators
are mounted to the Dual
arm version, whereas the 2 brake indicators are
mounted to the Single arm version.
•
Carefully unlock 2 or 4 pre-installed plastic
covers from the 4 latches , remove
and store in a safe place.
•
Connect 1 connector each of the electrical
supply cable with the connector of the
lighting board .
Observe the color code chart on the lighting
boards :
Upper bearing = green
Intermediate bearing = blue

Insert the electrical supply line through the hole (see arrow) into the extension arm

Do not damage the connector and supply cable during this process. The supply cable
must be fully inserted into the extension arm

Insert the bottom of the lighting board into the mounting opening , and press in
carefully until it clicks into place.
•
Do not use excessive force to press the lighting board into the mounting opening .
