PWR-01 Interface Manual

VOLT:PROT

Sets the overvoltage protection (OVP).
This command is invalid while a sequence is running.

Command

[SOURce:]VOLTage:PROTection[:LEVel] <numeric>

[SOURce:]VOLTage:PROTection[:LEVel]?

Parameter
Value:

10 % to 112 % of the rated output voltage (OVP; MAXimum by default)
A SCPI error (-222, “Data out of range”) occurs if outside the range.

Unit:

Settings are reset to default when the *RST command is sent.
If you enable the voltage limit (VOLT:LIM:AUTO ON) when the voltage setting is
higher than 95 % of the OVP trip point, the OVP trip point setting is changed to 105
% of the voltage setting.

Response

Returns the OVP value in NR3 format in response to VOLT:PROT?.
