Connection and Setup
1. Cable guide for infra-red sensor
When fi tting the connector, make sure that no wires from the braid are touching
the inner conductor, otherwise a short circuit will occur.
The quality of the reception signal depends on a good connection at this point!
Connect the Sat IF input on the receiver to the satellite reception system.
Use a coaxial cable with a standard F connector.
If the F standard connectors have not yet been fi tted on the cables, strip the
insulation from the cables as shown in the following illustration and carefully screw
the F standard connectors on to the ends of the cables to form a secure attachment.
LED in the front panel display:
The LED lights up:
Red (lit up) Receiver is in stand-by mode
Green (lit up) Receiver in operation
Green ( fl ashing 3 x) USB storage medium has just been connected
Green ( fl ashing continuously) EPG acquisition or software update in progress
