Manual retraction
1
In the centre of the axis (arrowed) there is a plastic cap. Lever this
off with a narrow flat-bladed screwdriver.
2
Behind the cap is an M8 hexagon head screw. Unscrew these
using a 13 mm across flats socket wrench.
➯
After removing the M8 screw, another thread can be seen
3
Important
Secure and support the antenna to prevent it tipping over
The connection to the rocker can suddenly come loose
during the next step 5. It is then no longer connected to
the turntable!
4 Screw an M12 screw (minimum length 22 mm) into this other
thread using a socket wrench (19 mm across flats). Screwing in the
M12 screw pushes the rocker off the taper seating on the tapered
shaft and releases the engagement
Important
Screw the M12 screw in only as far as necessary just to
free the rocker from engagement on the tapered shaft!
5 Tilt the antenna into the park position (horizontal position)
6 Remove the M12 screw This allows the rocker to re-engage on the
tapered shaft
7 Replace the M8 screw and tighten it
8 Replace the plastic cap
Important
Loosening the rocker from the tapered shaft causes the
rocker zero point position to be lost The defect must be elimi-
nated and the rocker recalibrated by an authorised specialist
dealer!
