8�2 Safety instructions
Warning
Risk of severe injury Ensure that the following conditions have been met:
●
The antenna and connected units are disconnected from the power supply
●
The person carrying out the installation does not suffer from vertigo and can move
around safely on the roof of the caravan or motor home
●
The person carrying out the settings is wearing sturdy non-slip shoes
●
The person carrying out the settings has a secure position to stand and hold on whilst
working
●
During operation of the turntable, make sure that no persons, and in particular
children, are in the immediate vicinity of the turntable and that they cannot touch any
moving parts
●
During the setting work
– make sure that no persons, in particular children, are in the immediate vicinity of
the turntable (crush hazard from moving parts)
– nobody should be underneath the turntable inside the caravan/motor home
●
The roof and the climbing equipment used (eg ladder) are dry, clean and non-slip
●
The roof can withstand the weight of the person carrying out the settings
●

●
The safety instructions in the detailed operating manual for the receiver must also be
followed

We strongly advise that users who are not familiar with the setting operations should not undertake
to adjust the mounting position of the satellite antenna themselves They should contact a techni-
cian or engineer. They may find a suitable person on the camp site.
There must not be any obstacles in the swing path!
