Testing the OptiView control panel heater

1. Measure the current to the heater using wire 31A at 5BR on TB6 in the Optiview Panel. The

nominal current is 1.5 A. However, it might read lower values based on the load at the time of

testing.

2. Adjust the temperature high enough to energize the heater based on the ambient

temperature at commissioning.

3. When testing is complete, reset the setting to 32°F (0°C). See Figure 56 for the thermostat

locations in the chiller control panel. See Figure 57 for the control options on the thermostat.

Note that one of two thermostat options can be installed. Both images are included in Figure

57.
