Cleaning the tray
Units fitted with a self
-contained aggrega
te come with trays used for collecting and
evaporating the water generated through the defrosting process. Solid debris
remains at the bottom of the tray, which can cause an unpleasant odour, hence the
tray should also be kept in mind when cleaning the ins
ide of the unit
.
When cleaning the tray:
switch the device off using the control panel,
disconnect the power supply to the device by removing the plug from the
socket,
remove the front plate of the unit,
clean the tray of solid dirt and water using a soft
sponge or a dedicated
hoover,
install the plinth plate,
switch on the supply voltage,
switch the device on using the control panel.
Do not clean the tray with a jet of water or other high-pressure liquid. Always
use soft brushes when using a hoover or other tool.
7.5
Cleaning the condensate pump (equipment option)
A condensate pump is installed in devices which require the condensate to be
transported from the lower part of the unit to the upper part, where the condensate
is evaporated. If possible, connect
the condensate to the drainage system. The
pump tank must be flushed with disinfectant every six months. For the purpose of
avoiding the growth of algae and bacteria.
