Depending on the type used, the display of the electronic thermostat can also
indicate the operating states of the unit such as:
 compressor operation (cooling),
 fan operation,
 signalling the defrosting process.
Refer to the operating instructions of the electronic thermostat used to
recognise alarm codes that may occur.
The thermostat is programmed at the factory, the set temperature for the type of
unit is provided in the data sheet. Adjusting the thermostat changes the internal
temperature of the unit.
Always check the setting with a thermometer and set
the temperature slightly higher or lower if necessary.
The temperature value is adjusted by changing the parameters of the electronic
controller (see thermostat operating instructions).
It should be noted that any reduction in temperature results in extending the
operation of the chiller and thus increasing the operating costs. The temperature
should not be set lower than the storage temperature of the relevant goods.
Use the storage temperature specified for the products! Care should be taken
to ensure that products are stored at the correct temperature.
6.2 Control panel
The control panel is used to directly control the operation of the
refrigeration/freezer unit.
The control panel of every device is fitted with an on/off switch, an electronic
controller and, depending on the type of unit, a light switch and a switch for
controlling the condensate prevention system.
Symbol Function
Main switch (on-off) – switches the functional components responsible for the
operation of the refrigeration system on and off.
NOTE:
The switch does not switch off the lighting circuits of the unit. It does not
disconnect the device from the mains.
Lighting switch (on- off) – switch independent of the main ON - OFF switch.
Main switch of the condensate prevention system (on - off) – switch dependent on
the main switch. The switch activates the unit’s anti - condensate function, which
should only operate when in the pres ence of condensate on the device due to
increased room humidity (available depending on the unit model).
