GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS AND TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The refrigeration (freezer) unit is a versatile device for the display, short
-
term
storage and direct sale of food products at reduced temperature. The temperature
range for the type of device is stated in the data sheet attached to the manual as
well as on the rating plate. The temperature in different areas of the unit may vary
slightly, depending on the distance of the goods from the cold air outlet.
The unit has a closed refrigeration system including an evaporator fed by a capillary
tube or thermostatic expansion valve. The evaporator system of forced
-air
(dynamic) units includes cold
-
air supply fans. The refrigeration unit is mounted on
a frame, which is equipped with regulating feet for proper levelling of the unit, or
torsion rollers (depending on the configuration of the unit) for free movement of the
unit.
The water generated during defrosting is discharged through an opening in the
bottom into a container located in the lower part of the device.
The refrigeration (freezer) unit is made as a self
-
supporting structure on a steel
frame. The inner surfaces are made of galvanised steel sheet painted with
polyester/epoxy powder paint, optionally stainless steel sheet, and the outer
surfaces are made of lacquered galvanised steel sheet, and optionally stainless
steel sheet. The insulation is made of polyurethane foam (CFC
-
Free).
Lighting is placed in the upper part of the unit (counter, shelving unit) to ensure that
goods are properly displayed. Lighting of the desired light colour can be installed
per request, e.g. for processed meat.
The A-
weighted sound pressure level of the units is below 70 dB(A).
3.
TRANSPORT OF THE DEVICE
The JBG-
2 brand equipment is prepared for transport in three variants
:
basic packaging
–
for each product
–
protection of individual elements
against internal and external damage (corrugated cardboard, foil, other),
wooden pallet
–
for most products transported over longer distances,
full wooden crate
–
mainly for transport by large vehicles, stacked on top of
each other or over very long distances.
The devices must always be transported and stored in the use position and
must be secured against displacement. Failure to follow the recommendation
above will void the warranty (if the device is covered by warranty).

UNPACKING AND HANDLING THE DEVICE
Appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, safety
footwear and a protective helmet should be used during unpacking work.
When unloading the equipment, the basic inspection involves checking for damage
occurring during transport. For this purpose, a visual inspection should be carried
out with regards to potential unfastened parts, bulges, scratches, visible oil leaks,
etc. If transport damage is discovered, the applicable provisions of the Transport
Law or the Convention on the Contract for the International
Carriage of Goods by
Road (CMR) must be followed.
Before removing the packaging, inspect it for loose functional parts.
5.
DEVICE INSTALLATION AND SETUP
Appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, safety
footwear and a protective helmet should be used during installation work.
The refrigeration (freezer) unit has been designed for environmental conditions
inside a shop in accordance with EN ISO 23953
-
2:2015 for the environmental
climate class indicated on the rating plate. See section
1.5
for detailed information
regarding the designation.
The ambient temperature of the unit must not drop below 1
7
°C.
The place of final use of the refrigeration (freezer) unit must be inside the building.
The device must only be used in a room with surface area in m2 equal to or
greater than the value A on the symbol near the device nameplate (applies to
equipment with a flammable refrigerant charge of more than 150 g in each
refrigeration circuit).
Do not position the device near potential ignition sources in order to minimise
the risk of fire.
5.1
Levelling
Devices fitted with levelling feet must be delivered to its destination using suitable
trolleys or transport rollers. It is permissible to move the unit on level surfaces for
short distances (up to a maximum of 0.5 m) provided that the levelling feet are fully
screwed in.
Do not move the unit on uneven surfaces and with the levelling feet removed. This
poses a risk of damaging the device.
The device should be placed on a firm s
urface and levelled using the threaded
levelling feet with which it is equipped. Before levelling the unit, the base plates
must be removed.
The levelling operation must be performed before installing the glass!
