Adjust the levelling feet to set the unit at a stable level –
it must not vibrate or
wobble. Check the level using a spirit level by placing it on a flat part of the unit. All
feet must rest on the ground. Poor levelling can prevent proper operation or
damage to the unit (e.g. poor drainage, difficult installation and connection).
After the device is set up and levelled, remove the protective film from the display
shelves and night curtains. Before operating the unit, wash it thoroughly and wipe
it dry
.
Do not move the device while it is connected to the electrical system. All set-
up, levelling and cleaning work must be carried out before commissioning.
5.2
Ventilation of the site
Chillers return the heat removed from the cooled space via the condenser, together
with the electrical energy extracted by the refrigeration plant in the form of heat to
the surrounding air. For this reason, air circulation around the equipment must be
left unobstructed.
In order to allow for sufficient air circulation, the device should not be placed close
to a wall (spacing of at least 100 mm) and the ventilation openings of the unit should
not be covered (even partially).
5.3
Air flow
The velocity of the surrounding air must not exceed 0.2 m/s. Therefore, the unit
should not be installed near a door or in a heavily
ventilated area. Positioning the
unit in such a place may cause it to malfunction.
5.4
Radiant heat
Do not install the unit in close proximity to heat sources (radiators, heating devices,
air outlets, etc.) or in direct sunlight. Do not direct spotlights at the device. If
possible, avoid using light bulbs. Fluorescent lamps emit less heat.
Any heat radiation directed towards the refrigeration unit increases operating
costs and may cause the unit to malfunction or be damaged.
