6.3 Loading the device
Chilled (frozen) food products for display and direct sale should be placed on the
display area, ensuring not to exceed the allowable stocking and shelf load limit.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible stocking and load stated in section
1.6 as well as on the additional sticker on the unit, typically located near the
rating plate.
The unit must be thoroughly washed and wiped dry before loading. Several
important rules must be observed to ensure that the unit is correctly loaded with
products:
 the food products must be arranged in the display area without exceeding
the permissible loading line,

the products must be positioned in a way that does not block the airflow and
do not obstruct the air inlet and outlet (even partially),
 uniform loading of the unit with no empty areas ensures the best
performance,

the permissible load limit of the display shelves should never be exceeded,

remember to leave gaps (channels) of at least 2 cm between products to
allow for proper flow of cooled air,
 products placed in the unit should be cooled to the appropriate temperature
beforehand.
Failure to comply with the above recommendations may result in the refrigeration
unit not working properly and thus in the loss of food products.
Loading of external glazed surfaces such as covers, tops of glazing systems
(e.g. placing food products on them) is not permitted.
