Remove two screws (7), two lock washers (8), and
bracket (9).

Remove thermostat housing (6), gasket, and
thermostat.

Installation Notes

• Install thermostat by reversing the order of removal.

• Clean gasket surface.

• Use a new gasket during installation.

• Use a new cable tie to secure wire harness.

• Fill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of good quality

ethylene glycol-base antifreeze and clean, fresh
water.

Throttle Actuator (Diesel)

Removal and Installation

See Figure 3-26.

Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Tag and disconnect throttle actuator connector (7).

Remove nut (8) and two washers (9), and disengage
throttle actuator linkage (1) from throttle actuator (6).

Remove four nuts (2), lock washers (3), flat washers
(4), and screws (5).

Remove throttle actuator (6).

Installation Notes

• Install throttle actuator by reversing the order of

removal.

• Adjust throttle actuator linkage. (See “Throttle

Actuator Adjustment (Diesel)” on page 3-11.)
