Measure the resistance between terminals (1 and 3).

Is the resistance value 0.02 ohms or less?

YES

Switch is faulty; replace switch.

Depress the switch button (2) and measure the
resistance between terminals (1 and 3).

Is the resistance value 0.02 ohms or less?

YES

Switch is good.
