Special Key Functions

During the start-up process and when the operating unit is changed (see chapter
‘Assembly’, section ‘Change the Operating Unit’, you can perform special tasks with
some keys:
During
Start-Up- / Terminal change
procedure:
Press
Clear
key 1x longer than 3 sec.
-> undo all steps
Press menu key
>
1x and release at once -> display 16-digit binary number which
provides information on the state of the
setup for the support
During
Time- / Date change
procedure:
(also after setup)
Press
Clear
key
>
2x briefly
-> keep former time setting

Initialising the System
6.2.1
Registering the Lock(s)

1.
Connect socket A of the operating unit to socket Flat A of EloXT II via bus
cable
2.
Connect the socket for IO connections of the operating unit via cable with
socket FLAT A of EloXT II.
3.
Connect socket “Lock 1(1/A)” of EloXT II the operating unit to socket Flat
A of EloXT II via bus cable.
Caution
With power supply connected incorrectly:
Danger of malfunction / system breakdown.
Never use batteries and mains supply at the same
time.
4.
Connect the system with power supply via the first extension unit.
The display is activated and shows

Press key
Enter
and release it immediately.
Language | 1 Deutsch
is on display.
With the menu keys < or > you can select other languages.

Confirm the selected language with key
