10.0: Frame Grabber
Overview
The RMV four tap camera is a Cameralink Base Mode compatible camera. This
means the RMV four tap cameras can be viewed as if they were a two tap camera. This
reduces the cost to the user in cables and frame grabbers.
If the RMV is set to one tap readout, the camera output the one tap on one channel
of the CameraLink bus. In the diagram below show a one tap readout. One image path
from the CCD at 40Mhz is processed and sent to the frame grabber on one CameraLink
channel ( Tap ).
If the RMV is set to two tap readout, the camera output the two taps on two channels
of the CameraLink bus. In the diagram below show a two tap readout. Two image paths
from the CCD at 40Mhz is processed and sent to the frame grabber on two CameraLink
channels ( Taps ).
The frame grabber get the image as two taps interleaved.
