The target device’s IP address is needed in the next step. Record the IP address from the DOS
command window.
Configure VS2008 Device Connectivity Settings
To establish connectivity to the CE 6.0 target device, we need to configure the device connectivity
settings for the VS2008 development workstation with the target device’s IP address.
Work through the following steps to configure the device connectivity settings:

From the VS2008 IDE, select
Tools | Options
to bring up the
Options
screen, as shown in
Figure 73.

Device Tools
node on the left pane and click to highlight the
Devices
node.
