Using Static IP Address
To use Static IP address, the IP address for the target device and development workstation must be
configured to the same subnet
.
The preconfigured CE 6.0 OS runtime image, for the VDX-6326 SBC in this kit, is built with DHCP enabled
to request IP address from an available DHCP service dynamically at boot time.
Configure Static IP for Prebuilt CE 6.0 OS Runtime
Work through the following steps to configure a static IP address for the preconfigured image:

From CE 6.0 desktop, select Start | Settings | Network and Dial-up Connections to bring up
the Network Connections screen.

the Network Connection screen, right click on
PCI-R60401
and select Properties.
•
From the PCI\R60401 Settings screen, enter the static IP address and subnet mask.
