Read

the

support

bracket

(see

Disconnect

all

cables

from

the

microprocessor

board.

Remove

all

DIMMs

from

the

microprocessor

board

and

set

them

safe,

static-protective

place.

Remove

the

fan

sink

and

microprocessor

from

the

microprocessor

board

(see

and

set

them

safe,

static-protective

place.

Attention:

Before

attempting

remove

the

fan

sink

from

the

microprocessor,

sure

read

all

the

instructions

Fully

loosen

the

six

captive

screws

connecting

the

microprocessor

board

the

system

board.

Four

these

screws

also

secure

the

fan

sink

retention

module.

10.

Disconnect

the

microprocessor

board

from

the

system

board

grasping

the

pull

points

microprocessor

board

(at

the

two

corners

the

board

nearest

microprocessor

1).

This

will

free

the

board

from

the

second-microprocessor

connectors

and

the

two

plastic

alignment

pins.

The

alignment

pins

will

stay

with

either

the

system

board

the

microprocessor

board.
