Removal and Replacement Procedures

Base Unit Diskette Drive

Removal

1. Remove the front cover following the procedure on page 4-3.

2. Remove the side cover following the procedure on page 4-6.

3. Remove the diskette drive retaining screws located in the left side of the system unit.

4. Gently slide the diskette drive out of the unit.

5. Disconnect the cables connected to the diskette drive.

Replacement

1. Connect the cables to the diskette drive.

2. Slide the diskette drive inside the unit.

3. Replace the retaining screws and tighten.

4. Replace the side cover following the procedure on page 4-6.

5. Replace the front cover following the procedure on page 4-3 .
