How and when do I purchase additional support?

900 number.

In the United States and Canada, to

receive immediate support from an IBM PC HelpCenter
technical support representative you can call the 900
number. Your local telephone company will bill you by
the minute for each call. Persons under age 18 must
have permission of a parent or legal guardian prior to
placing the call.

Flat rate.

You may call the IBM PC HelpCenter to

purchase support for a single incident or multiple
incidents (in Canada, call the toll free number listed on
page 89). The flat-rate option is not available in Australia
or New Zealand.

Single incident.

The single incident option allows you to

pay a flat fee for each individual problem you need to
resolve.
