Removing and replacing the cover

103

Adding and removing hardware

Touch an unpainted, metal portion of the chassis
before touching any internal components.

While you are working inside the system unit,
periodically touch an unpainted, metal portion of the
chassis to minimize the chance of damage to the
components by static electricity.

Replacing the cover:

Set down the cover on the chassis with about an inch

gap with the chassis.

Slide the cover forward until it fits into place.

Align the screw holes and secure the cover with four
screws.
