5 – Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance

Remove the valve stem cap from the water accumulator.

Use an air pressure gauge to measure the pressure in the water accumulator. The optimum air pressure is 2 bar
or 207 kPa (30 psi).

To reduce the pressure, press the valve stem to release air from the accumulator. Add compressed air to increase the
pressure.

Repeat this procedure until the pressure is 2 bar or 207 kPa (30 psi).

Install the original valve stem cap.

Close the water valve.
