5 – Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance

Turn OFF the pump.

Turn OFF power from the primary utility source. Use standard lock out–tag out procedures.

Open the valve to drain the water from the system. Make sure that the water pressure gauges show 0 bar
or 0 kPa (0 psi).

Water valve in open position

Disconnect the high-pressure tubing from the intensifier.

Disconnect the hose from the low-pressure water fitting on the high-pressure end cap.

Disconnect the compressed air line from the bleed-down valve.
