5 – Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance

14.

Check the high-pressure water, the low-pressure water, and the hydraulic systems for leaks. If a leak is found, identify
the source and repair the problem. Refer to the Troubleshooting section, which begins on page 153.

15.

Turn the pierce-pressure adjustment knob to the right (clockwise) to increase the pierce-pressure to the desired
pierce-pressure set point.

16.

Press 1 on the numeric keypad to change the pump to cut-pressure mode. The intensifier strokes until the pump
reaches the high-pressure setting and then it stops stroking.

17.

Check the high-pressure water, the low-pressure water, and the hydraulic systems for leaks. If a leak is found, identify
the source and repair the problem. Refer to the Troubleshooting section, which begins on page 153.

The pump is ready for normal operation.
