Performing Maintenance

6. Clean any coarse dirt from the inside

of the filter housing as well as from
the sealing surfaces on the housing
and the cover.

For easier installation of the

filter element, wet the O-ring on the
filter element with the operating
medium.

7. Press the new filter element down into

the filter mount by turning it slightly.

Do not use striking tools for this.

8. Check the O-ring on the cover for

damage and replace it if necessary.

Lightly wet the O-ring on the cover
with medium.
