INSTALLING THE NEW BACKREST ACTUATOR
1. Place the new slide actuator into position.
2. Replace the pin and “C” clip at the front end of the actuator.
3. Connect the backrest actuator connector to the corresponding connector from the backrest.
4. Place the connector inside the junction box, replace the junction box cover, then replace the two screws to secure it.
5. Secure the actuator harness to the chair frame in the same location as before, using a new zip tie.
6. Fold the seat support down into position, then replace the seat cushion.
7. Gently fold the backrest forward onto the seat.
8. Replace the pin and “C” clip at the rear of the actuator.
9. Fold the backrest backward into a reclined postion.
10. Plug in the chair, power it on, then verify that the slide actuator is working properly
