13 (Optional) Installing Dehumidifiers

Issue 02 (2018-03-31)

Floating nuts must be installed in mounting holes alternatively on the dehumidifier.



Three floating nuts need to be installed at each side.



Ensure that the floating nuts on both sides are on the same horizontal line.



When installing the dehumidifier, verify that the air intake vent faces the cold aisle (as
shown by A in

Figure 13-1

), and the air exhaust vent faces the hot aisle (as shown by B in

Figure 13-1

Step 4

Secure the dehumidifier to the rack rails using M6 screws and dehumidifier mounting ears.
