My appliance has lost all its data. What do
I do now?
First check the the appliance really has lost all its data. This could occur if the
appliance has been replaced, or repaired. Otherwise, examine the account details. If
the appliance has lost all its data then there should not be any accounts.
To restore saved appliance data, there are two options. If a tape drive has been used
to backup the appliance, then the data could be restored from the tape.
This
page will
explain how to do this. Otherwise, all the users need to register again, and perform a
baseline backup.
