Backing up Client Data
The automatic backup of the client data is scheduled to occur during a predefined
period of time. Clients can also back up data manually by dragging and dropping the
icon of the data file onto the backup icon.
If there is a problem, what symptoms are there?
The appliance is off-line or unreachable.
The client was not connected to the network during the scheduled backup
time window.
The client informs the user that a backup has not occurred for n days.
The backup failed as the client account has been deleted from the appliance.
The client disconnected from the network during backup.
There is insufficient capacity on the appliance to perform a backup.
There is a message telling me not to use Microsoft Outlook during my
AutoBackup backup.
The appliance refuses to backup files/folders.
The client cannot backup another non Microsoft partition.
The agent setup download was very slow, but after the agent was installed,
the backup speed was very fast.

Restoring Client Data
Clients can restore backed up data in two ways. They can use drag and drop from the
AutoBackup icon in Windows Explorer to restore the most recent version of stored
files. Or they can specify a date to restore files to a previous state.
If there is a problem, what are the symptoms?
The appliance is off-line or unreachable.
The restored files are different to those expected.
The client disconnected from the network during recovery.
The client was unable to restore data due to lack of disk space.
