7.2.4. Charging Process
1. The charging process automatically starts 5 seconds after the charger has been
connected to the power supply.
2. The charging process is automatically ended as soon as the battery is completely
charged. The green "100%" LED signalises the end of the charging process, as well as
the trickle charging.
3. As long as the battery is not separated from the charger, the trickle charging process
specified for the engaged battery is affected.
4. End the charging process or the trickle charging by pressing the "Pause" key on the
charger for less than 1 second. The charging process is then interrupted for 1 minute
and continued, provided that the charger state does not change.
5. Disconnect the power plug while the charger is in standby mode in order to end the
charging process.
6. Reconnect the power cable to the charger housing or to the standing device.
7. Seal the charger housing using the turning lock in order to avoid the penetration
of moisture and dust in driving mode and to restore conformance with the IP54 protection
class. Once again, use the socket wrench provided to do this.
8. When using a standing charger, remove the battery receptacle from the charging plug of
the charger and connect it to the vehicle plug, so that the vehicle is made ready for
operation. (Not required for onboard chargers)
Please refer to the separate manual provided for detailed information regarding the operation of
the charger.
