ATTENTION!
Fast charging always necessitates a higher power input for the charger, and the mains power
supply must be suitable for this.
The higher power input for the chargers during fast charging and the higher space requirement
associated with this may potentially prevent the installation of an onboard version of

systemizer dynamics
.
7.2.8. Recuperation
Due to the very low internal resistance of the
trak | systemizer dynamics
system's in-built
battery cells, very high recuperation currents can be efficiently received and stored in
medium charge states. Here, the recuperation current does not have to be limited up to a
cell voltage of up to 2.40 V/cell.
The associated system voltage U
System
is calculated as follows:
U
System
= n x 2.40 V/cell, where n = number of battery cells
The maximum possible recuperation current that can still be safely received reduces as the
charge state of the battery increases. In the case of cell voltages above 2.40 V/cell, the
recuperation current must be limited to 1.0 A/100 Ah nominal capacity. Non-observance of
this limit value can result in premature ageing, loss of capacity and failure of the storage
system.
HAZARD!
The recuperation ability of the
trak | systemizer dynamics
system is strictly limited by the
system in high charge states (>90% SOC) or when fully charged. This typical behaviour must be
taken into account in the vehicle electronics system in order to counteract a drastic reduction in
brake efficiency.
7.3.
Equalisation charging
Equalisation charging processes are used to safeguard service life and retain capacity, and
are carried out according to necessity during the normal battery charging process.
The intelligent operational management of the
trak | systemizer dynamics
system detects
the need for equalisation charging and carries out the process automatically. The evaluation
of the necessity and manual initiation of equalisation charging are not necessary.
Equalisation charging processes are integrated into the system recharging according to
need without any user input, and can be determined based on the standard recharging
times shown in 7.2. with additional recharging (table).
Manual charging processes by the user outside the operational management of the
trak |
systemizer dynamics
system are not normally required.
